Procurement & Operation Officer

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for optimizing procurement processes?
Join our dynamic team as a Procurement Operations Manager In this role, you
will be working and enhance our procurement activities, ensuring the efficient
acquisition of goods and services. We’re looking for an individual with a robust
background in operations and procurement, exceptional organizational skills, and
the ability to achieve strategic objectives.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Clearly outline work goals, deliverables, and timelines.
- Outline the procurement needs, including materials, services, and
equipment.
- Identify potential suppliers and vendors.
- Solicit quotes and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliability.
- Maintain open lines of communication with in the warehouse and
Production schedules.
1. Inventory Management and Procurement
- Inventory Handling: Process transfer postings and Operate special stock
types, including, consignment, and stock transfer processes.
- Stock Accuracy: Ensure adherence to all inventory management
processes to prevent stock loss and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Inventory Monitoring: Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely
delivery of products to meet operational requirements.
- Purchasing Management: Handle end-to-end purchasing for the factory,
including administrative tasks related to items and coordination with
vendors for new stock acquisitions and machinery purchases.
- Compliance: Maintain compliance with company policies, including the
timely renewal of agreements and licenses.
2. Operations and Procurement Management
- Resource Identification: Identify the resources, tools, and processes
needed for operations.
- Supplier Selection: Solicit quotes and select suppliers based on cost,
quality, and reliability.Contract Management: Work for procurement contracts and ensure
timely delivery of resources.
- Inventory Management: Working for operation and raw material
inventory management, ensuring compliance with FIFO (First In - First Out)
and FEEO (First Expiry - First Out) principles.
3. Software and Systems Management
- Zoho Inventory: Knowledge of Utilize Zoho Inventory software for
procurement processes and inventory.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain
Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience in operations and procurement
management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Skills: Strong organizational, analytical skills. Proficient in using
procurement and inventory management software, including Zoho
Inventory.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with inventory management principles,
procurement processes, and compliance requirements.
