**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**
**Responsibilities**:
- Own and manage the background check and reference process with our preferred vendors
- Assist in creating reports, metrics and presentations as needed
- Partner with the People Team, Finance and other teams to ensure Jobvite is updated and accurate
- Provide general administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team, such as scheduling meetings, recording minutes, following up regarding action items and invoicing
- Help create a positive recruitment experience through interactions with internal and external stakeholders
- Assist in increasing brand awareness across social media platforms and other avenues such as Glassdoor, Twitter and LinkedIn
- Coordinate and attend recruitment events, career fairs, networking events, conferences and tradeshows.
**ABOUT YOU**
**Core Competencies & Demonstrated Success**
- Previous work experience within a Human Resources/Recruitment department is an asset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
- Keen attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills complemented by the ability to work well independently
- Proactive, self-starter, takes initiative without being directed
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
**Qualifications**
- Post secondary education in Human Resources or related discipline.
- Previous work experience within a Human Resources/Recruitment department is an asset.
