**JD for Sales Manager**
- Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities
- Develop elaborate business development plans, design and implement processes to support business growth, through customer and market definition.
- Facilitate business growth by working together with clients as well as business partners (suppliers, subcontractors, JV partners, etc.) and internal cross functions.
- Build and maintain high-level contacts with current and prospective customer and other business and project partners.
- Drive prospects through to contract award (including identifying new customers and markets, developing approaches to the market, identifying prospects, proposal preparation, etc.)
- Preparing ground work for building opportunity pipeline and ensuring a steady stream of opportunities for business continuity
- Drafting proposals for process, defence and aerospace sectors, understanding hierarchy in govt sector to enhance leverage
- Identifying budgets and timelines in govt sector industries, actively assist in developing RFP/RFQ/RFB bids for client opportunities and focus on winning/converting the opportunities
- Negotiate costs and outline the contract terms
- Penetrate to multiple bureaucracies, depts and then to special projects
- Assist Sales Director in making Sales Plans and ensure their successful implementation
- Responsible for working closely with Deliverables teams/customer till PO is attained, and then pass it on to Head of Delivery team for Execution
- Communicating with clients to understand their needs and offer solutions to their problems
- Act as in house consultant to internal stakeholders, coordinating between client and teams, setting customer expectations, facilitating a thorough Due diligence on viability and getting all on board before order is procured
- Educate internal stakeholders to Define clear boundaries of Company’s projected deliverables, keeping ESPL restrictions in view with clear expectation setting and refraining from overselling
- Pursuing hot, cold and medium leads - presentations, demos and move from quotes to revenue,
- Managing Sales in local geographies as and when required
- Responsible for achieving quarterly and annual Sales targets
- Lead and direct multiple Sales Managers/Executives Pan India in the long term
- Replicating success in other geographies as best practices
- Responsible for AR follow up and recovery ( based on Accounts MIS reports) for Projects under Theta group.
- **Customer interaction** with product/project to understand and resolve issues.
- Interact with **product development team** to create the product the client wants.
- Work with **marketing **to develop the new branding and rollout.
