**International And Cross Border**

The International business seeks to enhance the Group’s share of wallet from the International customers, I,e Non Resident Indian (NRI) community, Expats in India and Affluent Indian Residents with overseas banking needs. The key focus of this role is to enable a robust growth in International business by creating processes and journeys to build customer experience, grow sales productivity, bring higher efficiencies, while ensuring robust control and monitoring.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the INM WPB International team as Senior Vice President - International and Cross Border.

**Principal Responsibilities**

The key focus of this role is to design and establish NRI processes, journeys, cross border guidelines to solve for customer growth, portfolio deepening and revenue growth. We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Wealth and Personal Banking-International team, who will be working together with various colleagues and stakeholders to drive and support International business to achieve business targets and in this role, you will.
- Responsible for cross border proposition and process
- Drive business metrics and delivery through IBC, International Markets, India branches and Contact Center
- Responsible for streamlining initiatives for improvement, in processes and operations, with the aim of strengthening operational controls and carrying out process improvements
- Work closely with Group International and overseas HSBC entities, teams and branches to enhance the India International proposition and its delivery
- Accountable for undertaking customer journey through digital channel, to define best in class digital channel propositions for NRI customers
- Working closely with wealth, insurance, mortgage and credit card product teams to create opportunities for Overseas Indian and International customers
- Ensuring enhancement of existing customer journeys, end to end, to support the channel on an on-going basis and help meet customer requirements in an agile manner
- Stakeholder management is a key to the role requirement both global as well as local. Strict adherence with Group strategy/policies, managing approvals/changes & maintain operational control
- Responsible for preparing business and analytical MI for frontline / branches
- Work closely with control, compliance, operations etc., within country and across International markets and group teams, to create/enhance customer journeys, processes, product offering in adherence to cross border framework and local regulatory guidelines
- Manage BAU activities, reporting’s, control checks etc
- Build awareness of NRI proposition amongst group colleagues who network with large multinational organizations
- To manage controls aspect for NRIs from cross border perspective, customer complaints and ensure delivery of business initiaves in a compliant manner
- Responsible for the implementation of operating guidelines and liaising with overseas Regulatory Compliance and international teams to explore expansion and streamlining opportunities

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or MBA with 14-20 years of experience, including Product Management or Proposition or business development, preferably in International customer segment
- Ability to position and differentiate International and Group’s products and services from competitors & enhance awareness of the International and NRI across Premier & Non Premier segments
