**Job Description:
- **
As a hotel reservation agent, your primary responsibility is to assist guests with booking hotel accommodations. Your duties typically include:
- **Booking Management**: You'll process reservations accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest information is correctly recorded and entered into the hotel's reservation system. This includes managing room availability, rates, and special requests.
- **Customer Service**: Providing excellent customer service is paramount. You'll address guests' questions, concerns, and special requests promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive experience throughout the booking process.
- **Sales and Upselling**: While assisting guests with their reservations, you may have opportunities to upsell additional services or amenities offered by the hotel, such as room upgrades, dining options, or spa services.
- **Communication**: Effective communication skills are essential. You'll liaise with various hotel departments to ensure guest needs are met, communicate reservation details accurately, and handle any issues or changes promptly.
- **Problem Solving**: You'll handle any booking discrepancies, cancellations, or modifications efficiently and diplomatically, striving to resolve issues to the guest's satisfaction while adhering to hotel policies.
- **Administrative Tasks**: You may be responsible for maintaining reservation records, generating reports, and performing other administrative duties related to reservations management.
- **Knowledge of Hotel Policies and Procedures**: You'll be familiar with the hotel's policies, procedures, and amenities to provide accurate information to guests and ensure compliance with hotel standards.
- **Multitasking and Time Management**: The role often involves handling multiple inquiries simultaneously and managing bookings within tight deadlines, so strong multitasking and time management skills are crucial.
- **Team Collaboration**: You'll work closely with other hotel staff, including front desk personnel, housekeeping, and management, to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
