The opportunity
Project: A leading provider of portfolio rebalancing and trading solutions.
The role will be responsible to the front office assisting visitors efficiently, courteously and professionally in all front office-related functions, and to maintain a high standard of service and Hospitality at all times.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising all housekeeping employees and assigning work.
- Developing and implementing housekeeping systems and procedures.
- Generating and providing MIS reports.
- Referring and following up on maintenance/equipment issues with engineering and other departments.
- Reviewing and monitoring daily schedules to ensure enough coverage for the day.
- Overseeing work of contracted labour regarding maintenance of the space.
- Monitoring the supplies.
- Overseeing the management and operation of the housekeeping department.
- Ensuring daily briefing of supervisors.
- Overseeing day-to-day cleaning responsibilities of the housekeeping team.
- Dealing with hospitality suppliers.
- Conducting pre-shift brief meetings.
- Training staff by following OSHA and hotel guidelines for the safe handling of all housekeeping chemicals and equipment.
- Monitoring and performing inventories -weekly/monthly of housekeeping and pantry stock.
- Overseeing the work of contracted labour.
- Delegating assignments and supervising all housekeeping staff.
- Ensuring daily inspection of common areas and work areas.
- Ensuring that the caterers are maintaining the highest standards of hygiene in the service area.
- Monitoring the pantry equipment and reprographic equipment operation during the shift and identifying issues and taking necessary actions.
- Participating in the environmental management system.
- Supporting EMS representatives in achieving the objectives.
- Participating in EMS internal and external audits.
About you
You have a degree qualification. You have a wide knowledge of chemicals and consumables. You have experience delivering soft facilities management services. You have experience working in a multinational company or in a hotel would be beneficial.
You are digitally savvy, especially in MS Office and can provide support to strong motivated teams. You will have facilities management experience and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
