Introduction:
As a member of the Delivery team the role will support on the attraction and retention of colleagues; providing reward guidance and advice to the business and HR on hires, promotion, internal movements and a range of reward topics. The role holder will ensure execution is to the highest standards and compliant with the established Reward operating and governance model.
The role holder will provide first line response to reward queries and issues, building relationships with key stakeholders.
The role will support on transformational activity across the Hiring/Internals team in addition to working on wider project activity across the Delivery Team and Compensation function The role holder will play a detail conscious, highly accurate support role within the team in support of the above.
The role holder will own and support activities/projects for the annual Payround cycle
What will you be doing?
- Management of the Hiring / Internal team inboxes and provision of first line response to Talent Acquisition, Delivery & Advisory, HR and the business on a range of Reward topics
- Advise and guide stakeholders with respect to Reward policies and processes
- Support on the external and internal hiring process across business aligned areas: provide guidance and support to Talent Acquisition on appropriate salaries and to work on any hires that are outside of market data or internal ranges to understand the business requirements and challenge where appropriate
- Assist in the production and maintenance of hiring ranges
- Support on a range of topics and/or projects within Hiring/Internals team. Examples include, but are not limited to, MD promotions, Early Careers, Recognition, retention programmes, counter offer, exits & termination payments etc.
- Assist the Reward Managers on a range of bespoke Reward queries, projects and initiatives including, but not limited too, grievances, retention requests, counter-offers, exits and termination payments.
- Contribute to data gathering, analysis and interpretation in relation to group wide reward projects and process development, such as market data and the annual salary review
- Pro-actively participate in projects across Delivery and the wider Compensation function.
- Continually identify ways to make process improvements and engage with the necessary functions to embed new ways of working, to work with Compensation colleagues to ensure smooth integration and hand offs
- Support the successful delivery of the annual pay review process through reconciling of data, providing analysis/reporting and supporting HR through the end to end process
What we’re looking for:
- IT literate; strong Excel skills
- Graduation is minimum required
- Experience of building strong client relationships
- Highly numerate and comfortable with manipulating data to present clear, concise and accurate conclusions
- Some experience of working in a complex, multi-business organisation and sufficiently politically sensitive/astute
- Delivers to deadlines
- Client-focused
- Able to work in a changing environment under pressure
