Act as a bridge between GCB and the Commercial Finance and Trading teams to influence proposition development, drive sales and marketing acquisition targets and performance against relevant P&L deliverables. Drive down bad debt / fraud and revenue loss through the relevant CFU.
What I’ll be doing - your accountabilities
- Support the development, design and implementation of the Credit Risk & Fraud Strategy for all BT Group Consumer, Global, Openreach and Enterprise products, optimising performance to reduce fraud, early forced churn, equipment loss and bad debt whilst supporting revenue growth of the business.
- Own and manage smaller components of the Credit Risk & Fraud roadmap to ensure they are optimised in order to maximise profitability
- Support the implementation and refinement of models and/or strategies, including all phases from trial, through roll out to ongoing performance monitoring
- Support delivery of the overall Credit Risk & Fraud strategy by working with key stakeholders across Consumer, Global, Openreach and Enterprise CFUs
- Establish and maintain key relationships across the BT Group including Senior Management Team and external suppliers to support the Credit Risk function
- Represent Fraud Credit Risk in meetings and operational forums to promote the successful adoption of initiatives and policies within the wider business
- Conduct and interpret analytics and reporting to support Credit Risk & Fraud Strategy
- To maintain personal and professional development in the Credit risk area
Skills required for the job
- **Degree level or equivalent experience in a financial, statistical or mathematical specialism**:

- **Good knowledge of Credit Risk Analytics, Data Analytics & using analytical tools such as SAS desirable**:

- Communication and influencing skills and ability to manage tasks and drive the efforts of others
- Commercial awareness of the impacts and influence of credit risk strategies
- Demonstrates an innovative approach to Credit Risk
- Evidence of working with more senior stakeholders and influencing decisions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience you would be expected to have
- **Experienced, flexible and driven with a detailed background in delivering and optimising Fraud prevention strategies**:

- Proven track record of building a wide range of Credit Risk & Fraud controls to manage credit risk exposure to loss
- Proven ability to manage all aspect of a high-volume consumer and Enterprise portfolios
- **Experience in the Telecommunications domain preferably within a Credit Risk role.
