IIM Nagpur is looking for a qualified and experienced Assistant Officer -Admissions for the Degree Granting Programmes.

Assistant Officer - Admissions will lead the department’s regular operations, planning and execution of admission cycle for various programs offered by IIM Nagpur.

**Brief about the Admissions Department**:
Admissions department has a crucial role in attracting top-quality applicants and admitting them for all the Degree granting programmes. The department’s role is to formulate policies, systems and processes that provide competitive edge for IIM Nagpur to grow as the number one choice among MBA and Management degree aspirants.

**Position: Assistant Officer - Admissions**

**Qualification and Experience**:

- Applicant should have a Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma with minimum 60% marks from a reputed institute/university, preferably in Management.
- At least 8 years of work experience in academic administration in a higher education institute or a private business school directly related to admissions in multiple degree granting programs.
**OR**
- Applicants possessing only Undergraduate degree in any discipline should have minimum 65% marks from a reputed institute/university.
- At least 10 years work experience in academic administration in a higher education institute or a private business school directly related to admissions in multiple degree granting programs.

In both the cases, Experience of MBA admissions through CAT in IIMs/IITs/Private B-Schools of high repute/NITs is desirable.

**Desirables**:

- Thorough understanding of MBA admissions in CAP and/or coordinating CAT-based internal admission process to MBA.
- At least 2 years of the overall experience in a supervisory role managing a team of at least 3 resources.
- Demonstrated ability to handle few thousand applicant’s data of multiple programs with varied sizes.
- Working knowledge about Application portal development.

**Age**:Minimum 32 Years

**Job Profile**:

- **2. Budgeting**: Preparation of annual budget considering all the programs under the department.
- **3. Policy and Analysis**: Developing and updating policies before every admissions cycle supported by data analysis by comparing policies of other IIMs and B-Schools
- **4. Operations**: Develop SOP and implement process in an efficient manner for the institute and the applicant.
- **6. Screening**: Ability to evaluate eligibility criteria of few thousand applicants in an error free manner.
- **7. Personal Interviews (PI)**: Logistics planning and implementation of PI both in online mode and offline mode. Ability to organize and coordinate evaluation of screening exam.
- **8. Document verification**: Thorough knowledge of document verification process. Ability to coordinate staff involved in document verification and respond to applicant queries.
- **10. Processing bills**: Clearing bills and reconciliation of fees paid, honorarium, refunds, etc. Follow administrative procedures related to sanction note, expense bills, etc.
- **11. Team Management**:Supervise reporting admissions staff in day to day operations. Ability to delegate work & monitor progress of the reporting team members.
- **12. External engagement**:Ability to represent admissions department in consortiums, building knowledge partnerships, etc.
- **13. Project management**: Excellent project management and scheduling skills to handle admission processes and regular operations of the department.
- **14. Confidentiality**: Experience of maintaining confidentiality on regular operations of the department and while handling admissions data. Should have experience of building work culture of non-negotiable confidentiality in all matters of admissions and ensuring the same with team members.

**Key Skills**:

- Should possess interpersonal skills and ability to delegate work & monitor progress of the reporting team members.
- Demonstrated ability to interface with internal faculty, external faculty and panellists for smooth conduct of admissions process.
- Excellent knowledge of MS-Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to do data analyses and contribute to admissions policy changes.
- End to End knowledge of admissions process.

**Salary & Benefits**:
