The Liaison Officer/Executive for Tender Business plays a crucial role in facilitating communication and coordination between our company and various government agencies, institutions, and private organizations for securing tender contracts related to the manufacturing and distribution of diagnostics instruments and reagents. They are responsible for identifying tender opportunities, preparing tender documents, and ensuring compliance with all regulations and requirements. Additionally, they establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to enhance business opportunities and drive growth.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Tender Identification and Analysis**:
Identify and evaluate tender opportunities relevant to the company’s products and services.
Conduct thorough analysis of tender documents to understand requirements, deadlines, and evaluation criteria.
**Tender Preparation and Submission**:
- Prepare comprehensive tender proposals and documents in accordance with specifications and guidelines.
- Ensure all necessary documentation, including technical specifications, financial statements, and compliance certificates, are included in the tender submissions.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather required information and ensure timely submission of tenders.
**Compliance and Regulation**:
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to tender processes.
- Stay updated on changes in tendering laws, policies, and procedures, and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Mitigate risks associated with tender submissions by conducting thorough due diligence and adherence to compliance standards.
**Relationship Management**:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, procurement officials, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Act as a primary point of contact for external partners and stakeholders, addressing queries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to leverage relationships and explore new business opportunities.
**Essential Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in tender management, preferably in the manufacturing or healthcare industry.
- In-depth knowledge of tendering processes, regulations, and documentation requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and tender management software.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
**Desirable Qualifications**:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or a relevant field.
