We are seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join our team and help us maintain a steady supply of fresh produce.

*Role Summary:*

The Procurement Coordinator will be responsible for managing the procurement process for fresh fruits and vegetables, including Shahi Litchi and Mangoes. This includes sourcing from suppliers, negotiating prices, coordinating logistics, and ensuring timely delivery. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

*Key Responsibilities:*

*Sourcing:*
- Identify and establish relationships with reliable suppliers of fresh fruits and vegetables.
- Ensure all suppliers adhere to the prescribed SOPs for quality maintenance.

*Price Negotiation:*
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms.

*Quality Assurance:*
- Conduct regular inspections of incoming produce to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Work closely with farmers to ensure export quality and adherence to SOPs at the ground level.

*Inventory Management:*
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels.

*Logistics Coordination:*
- Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure timely delivery of produce to distribution centres.
- Arrange the booking of materials by Air/Railway & Private Vehicles as per product shelf life or SOP.
- Collect materials from the Airport/Railway Station and arrange transport to the warehouse.

*Supplier Relationship Management:*
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent supply and resolve any issues that arise.

*Market Research:*
- Stay informed about market trends, prices, and availability of fresh produce to make informed procurement decisions.

*Documentation:*
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and supplier agreements.

*Qualifications:*
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, preferably in the food industry or fresh produce market.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Excellent communication and

interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and procurement software.
