Patient Coordinator/receptionist

TLC Aesthetica, an established distinguished center for Plastic Surgery, Dermatology, and medspa services, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Cosmetologist to join our team.As a patient coordinator cum receptionist, your role is crucial in ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for both patients and healthcare providers. Your responsibilities typically include:
1. Patient Liaison: Greeting and welcoming patients as they arrive, providing them with necessary forms, and obtaining and verifying their personal information and insurance details.
2. Appointment Scheduling: Managing the scheduling of patient appointments, follow-up visits, and coordinating with healthcare staff to ensure efficient allocation of provider time.
3. Communication: Serving as a primary point of contact for patients, answering their inquiries, and providing information about services, procedures, and any preliminary instructions before appointments.
4. Administrative Support: Handling administrative tasks such as filing paperwork, organizing patient records, and managing office supplies.
5. Insurance Coordination: Verifying patient insurance coverage, obtaining pre-authorizations for procedures, and assisting patients with insurance-related queries.
6. Billing Support: Assisting with billing-related tasks, including collecting copayments, explaining billing procedures, and providing patients with financial estimates for services.
7. Patient Advocacy: Advocating for patients' needs and ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for throughout their interactions with the healthcare facility.
8. Multitasking: Handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously, such as managing phone calls, receiving and sorting mail, and providing general administrative support.
9. Collaborative Support: Assisting the healthcare team with various administrative tasks and maintaining effective communication with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
Your role as a patient coordinator and receptionist is instrumental in creating a positive patient experience, as well as supporting the overall efficiency of the healthcare facility. Excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a compassionate approach to patient care are crucial for success in this role.
