**Role Description**
- Develop the overall category strategy including growth plan, product portfolio mix, pricing & promotions
- Create AOPs (annual operating plans) for the category; i.e. Sales and margin forecasting at a category / sub-category level
- Study of latest trends in home interiors / decor and ensure the new product launches are in line with the same
- Lead Product costing and cost optimization initiatives for the category to achieve Gross margin targets
- Develop a mechanism of regularly capturing customer and designer feedback
- Monitor gaps in categories and work with Supply chain, sourcing and design teams in addressing those gaps.
- Work closely with marketing to ensure sufficient visibility and promotions for the category to achieve the growth targets
- Closely monitor industry trends and competitor developments (new launches, tech/product features, pricing, etc.)
- Lead the pricing for category by gathering appropriate market intelligence, customer feedback and in line with category gross margin targets
- Be the voice of the customer internally - monitor consumer feedback and consumer insights to drive continuous improvement
- Regularly monitor & present the performance of the category on predefined matrices. Take initiatives / correctives to bridge the gap with annual category targets
- Collaborate with product development, marketing, product/tech and operations to drive cross-functional initiatives and new product launches
- Negotiating with vendors to get best rates for Home Lane
- Travelling to various experience center to impart knowledge about category and increase demands.

**Job Requirement**

**Who are we looking for?**
- An Interior Designer / Architect / Design engineer by qualification
- Prior Experience of working in modular / furniture industry is mandatory
- Good at numbers, panel wise costing / pricing calculations, BOM based costing
- Good understanding of CMF (Color / Material / Finish) & high on aesthetics level
- Good Understanding of the manufacturing process and supply chain of modular category
- Someone who is a Hustler and has a go getter attitude and style of working
- Knowledge & understanding of customer requirements from interiors perspective
- Minimum experience of 6-8 years (mostly in modular / furniture industry)
- Should have basic understanding of Design / CAD / any design software
