**What you’ll do**:
In this highly visible position, the primary responsibility will be effective management of Gear lab and Receiving Inspection.
Continual improvement of QMS through internal audits, corrective and preventive actions

A. Management of Gear Lab/Standard Room
a. Calibration and maintenance of all instruments, Gauges and equipment in line with IATF requirements
b. Maintaining master list of all instruments, equipment and gauges and adhering annual maintenance plan.
c. Preparing list of critical spare parts and ensuring availability
d. Keeping minimum inventory of instrument and gauges for all functions
e. Efficiency/output improvement of activities being performed in Gear Lab
f. Completes the daily, weekly, monthly reports
g. Training of gear lab team
B. Management of Receiving Inspection
a. Preparing incoming inspection plan
b. Need identification of instruments and gauges for receiving inspection
c. Management of defective material report and disposition of NC material
d. Management of layout inspection of PPAP batch from supplier
e. Timely clearance of received material

Non-Technical
Time management, prioritizing quality projects, dealing with human resource concerns, and driving resolution of problems and people concerns. External communication with customers good interpersonal skills required.

**Qualifications**:
Diploma in mechanical engineering, technical or other related discipline.- 5 / 6 Years’ experience in lab management and receiving inspection. Extensive knowledge and experience of GD& T, understanding engineering drawing is must requirement for this role.

**Skills**:
PPAP, MSA and GD&T.
Problem solving thru 8-D using Fishbone & Why-Why analysis preferred
