**_Assistant Manager, Forecasting_**

**_ _**

**_ The aim of our Forecasting Center of Excellence is to establish industry-leading capabilities across the core area of Forecasting, business planning, and insight generation It will demonstrate, reapply, and advance methodologies in capabilities and operations from Global and US more broadly across geographies and Industries. The CoE also seeks to scale and deploy these capabilities in a highly efficient manner so that continuous innovation can be pursued_**

**_ This for a credible Pharma forecaster who will develop short and long-term forecasts models and maintain them to reflect current data, information and assumptions. You need to seek key business issues that impact short-term and long-range product and market forecasts. Clearly and pro-actively surface these issues, incorporate the results of primary research into the forecast model(s) to reflect anticipated risks and opportunities on sales outlook by working with client partners. _**

**_ Key Requirements/Responsibilities_**:

**_Ensuring objectivity of brand/therapeutic area forecasts through establishing objectives aligned around forecast accuracy._**

**_ _**

**_Developing brand volume forecasts, both short-term and long-term, to cultivate into strategic and operational planning processes._**

**_ _**

**_Sensitivity analysis to assist in opportunity identification and risk management._**

**_ _**

**_Undertake strategic long-term brand and franchise forecasting and provide strategic perspective on portfolio and brand strategy, as well as new product introduction volume forecasting and guidance._**

**_ _**

**_Develop a deep understanding of customers' data and analytical needs focusing on the customer-facing model leadership._**

**_ _**

**_Seek brand-level analytical problems using quantitative approaches._**

**_ _**

**_Break traditional patterns of thought by generating and recognizing imaginative, workable solutions to business situations and problems._**

**_ _**

**_Review sales performance, insights data, key initiatives, and new launches with brand and customer teams to ensure robust plans are in place and being executed._**

**_ _**

**_Provide increased focus on analytics and emphasize on providing valuable insights to drive improvement opportunities._**

**_ _**

**_Experience in working with large datasets, derive insights and present information through visualization and reports._**

**_ _**

**_Minimum Qualifications_**:
**_ _**

**_M Pharma, Masters in Business Administration_**

**_ _**

**_Master’s or (bachelor’s relevant work experience) in engineering_**

**_ _**

**_Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other Quantitative field;_**

**_ _**

**_An interest in, and some exposure to, one or more of the following tools and techniques, SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Data processing and basic statistical methods required._**

**_ _**

**_

**_ Preferred Qualifications_**:
**_ _**

**_Relevant analytical experience in Health Care and Lifesciences Industry including experience in product forecasting. In-depth knowledge of forecasting techniques and use of different forecast models and approaches._**

**_ _**

**_Experience in forecasting new product launch is required._**

**_ _**

**_Experience utilizing a range of analytics involving standard data in the Pharmaceutical Industry e.g. IQVIA (MIDAS, DDD NPA, Monthly Xponent), claims data (TRUVEN, Marketscan), Epidemiological data etc_**

**_ _**

**_Good understanding of primary market research, sophisticated analytics, and competitive-intelligence._**

**_ _**

**_Expertise in statistical/econometric/machine learning models like Time series modeling, regression etc. _**

**_Expertise in analytical tools like Python/R/SAS_**

**_ _**

**_Experience in MS Office - Must be a sophisticated user of PPT and Excel_**

**_ _**

**_Proficient verbal and written communication skills_**
