Sales Executive

As a Sales Manager in the rice industry, you will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team, developing and executing sales strategies, and driving business growth within the rice market. Your primary objective will be to achieve sales targets, build strong customer relationships, and contribute to the overall success of the company's rice business.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop sales strategies and plans to penetrate the rice market and achieve sales objectives.
Identify target customers, market segments, and geographic regions for sales expansion.
Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
Set sales targets and KPIs, and develop action plans to achieve them.
Sales Team Management:
Lead and manage a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and motivation.
Set individual sales targets, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations.
Foster a positive sales culture, encouraging teamwork, collaboration, and a customer-centric approach.
Recruit, onboard, and train new sales team members as necessary.
Business Development and Customer Relationship Management:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's customer base.
Establish and nurture relationships with key accounts and distributors in the rice industry.
Conduct regular meetings and negotiations with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
Develop and maintain a strong network of industry contacts and participate in relevant trade shows, conferences, and events.
Sales Operations and Reporting:
Monitor sales activities, analyze sales data, and generate reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
Ensure accurate and timely sales forecasting, pipeline management, and order processing.
Collaborate with other departments, such as production, logistics, and finance, to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Utilize CRM software or other sales tools to track customer interactions, manage leads, and optimize the sales process.
Continuous Improvement and Strategy Alignment:
Stay abreast of market dynamics, industry regulations, and emerging trends in the rice industry.
Collaborate with the management team to refine sales strategies, improve processes, and align business objectives.
Provide input and insights for product development, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.
Identify areas of improvement within the sales function and implement initiatives to enhance sales effectiveness and efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
Proven experience as a sales manager or in a similar role within the rice industry or related food industry.
Deep understanding of the rice market, including customer needs, distribution channels, and competitive landscape.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Results-oriented and target-driven, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools.
Ability to travel as required to meet customers, attend industry events, and visit production facilities.
