**Job Description**:
As the Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Executive Chef in managing the kitchen operations and maintaining the high standards of culinary quality at Indie Stays Resort. Your responsibilities will include overseeing food preparation, supervising kitchen staff, and contributing to the development of creative and delicious menus.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Menu Development**:

- Collaborate with the team to create innovative and enticing menus that align with the resort's culinary philosophy.
- Introduce new dishes, considering seasonal ingredients and guest preferences.
- **Food Preparation and Presentation**:

- Supervise and participate in the preparation of high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency and adherence to recipes.
- Oversee the presentation of dishes to meet aesthetic standards.
- **Kitchen Management**:

- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including staff supervision, scheduling, and training.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely and accurate supply orders.
- **Quality Control**:

- Maintain a high standard of food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation standards.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with kitchen staff to foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Provide guidance and support to junior chefs, ensuring their professional development.
- **Adherence to Policies**:

- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, resort policies, and industry standards.
- Implement and enforce kitchen procedures to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- **Guest Satisfaction**:

- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to address guest feedback and make necessary adjustments to enhance the dining experience.
- Actively participate in special events and promotions to showcase culinary expertise.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification.
- Strong knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and culinary trends.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
- Attention to detail and creativity in menu development.

**Salary**: From ₹35,000.00 per month
