Position Overview:
We are seeking a Banquet Sales Assistant Manager with MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) experience who embodies our commitment to world-class standards. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving banquet sales within our wellness and production center, leveraging their expertise in MICE events to enhance our offerings and exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive banquet sales revenue through proactive prospecting, client relationship management, and strategic marketing initiatives, with a focus on MICE events.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and industry partners to maximize business opportunities and drive repeat business.
- Collaborate with the event planning team to ensure seamless execution of MICE events, including meetings, conferences, exhibitions, and incentive programs, by providing detailed event requirements and client expectations.
- Conduct site inspections and client meetings to showcase our wellness and production center's unique offerings and capabilities for MICE events, highlighting our state-of-the-art facilities and exceptional service.
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and event orders tailored to the specific needs of MICE clients, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments related to MICE events, and recommend innovative strategies to maintain our competitive edge and enhance our offerings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, culinary, and guest services, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of MICE events, delivering exceptional experiences to our clients and their guests.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in banquet sales, with a focus on MICE events, within the hospitality industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in the MICE segment.
Strong understanding of MICE market dynamics, client requirements, and industry trends.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer focus.
