Job Title:

- Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities:

- Schedule and coordinate appointments for patients with healthcare providers. specialists and diagnostic services.
- Communicate with patients to confirm appointments, provide necessary information, and address any inquiries or concerns.
- Coordinate and manage provider schedules to optimize appointment availability and minimize wait times.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure efficient appointment scheduling and patient flow.
- Follow up with patients to remind them of upcoming appointments and reschedule as needed.
- Handle patient inquiries and resolve scheduling conflicts or issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Adhere to privacy and confidentiality policies when handling patient information and medical records.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining office supplies as needed.
- Participate in training and professional development activities to stay updated on healthcare procedures and technologies.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in appointment scheduling, customer service, or healthcare administration is desirable.
- Proficiency in using scheduling software, electronic medical records (EMR), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
