As a Commis Chef 2, you will play a key role in our kitchen team, assisting with food preparation and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization. This position requires a solid understanding of cooking techniques and familiarity with both Continental and Indian cuisine. You will be expected to contribute to creating exceptional dishes and growing your skills in a dynamic kitchen environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:*
- *Food Preparation:* Assist in the preparation of ingredients and dishes according to the recipes and standards set by the Chef. Ensure consistent quality and presentation of dishes, with a focus on both Continental and Indian cuisine.
- *Cooking:* Cook and assemble dishes to order, maintaining high standards of taste and appearance.
- *Station Management:* Manage and maintain your designated station, ensuring that all mise en place is ready and organized.
- *Cleanliness:* Adhere to hygiene and sanitation standards. Keep your station and the kitchen area clean and organized.
- *Inventory:* Monitor and manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies. Report any shortages or issues to the Sous Chef or Head Chef.
- *Team Collaboration:* Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service. Assist and support your colleagues as needed.
- *Learning and Development:* Continuously develop your culinary skills and knowledge, particularly in Continental and Indian cuisine. Seek feedback and actively participate in training sessions.
- *Health & Safety:* Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Handle all equipment and tools safely and responsibly.

**Qualifications**:*
- *Experience:* Previous experience in a similar role or a relevant culinary qualification is preferred.
- *Skills:* Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cooking techniques. Proficiency in preparing dishes from Continental and Indian cuisines.
- *Attributes:* Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.
- *Physical Requirements:* Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as required.

**Working Conditions**:*
- *Hours:* Full-time, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- *Environment:* Fast-paced kitchen environment with potential exposure to hot surfaces, sharp utensils, and high noise levels.
