Digital Product Owner

The Digital Product Owner is responsible for managing and leading end-to-end efforts in developing and deploying digital products from DI&T globally across various markets of J&J in Pharm and MedTech segments. These digital products leverage GS1 standards for product identification, traceability and data sharing and use some of the new generation technologies such as blockchain, Azure Cloud services, RFID. The product owner will serve as a SME in the technology area, understand the requirements from the segments and markets and develop the solution to be ready for deployment in these markets.
- Lead the technology development of the solution based on the requirements from the market. Work with industry partners, associations, internal J&J functions to deliver the solution within J&J.
- Engage appropriate stakeholders (e.g, Industry associations, Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, Operating Companies) to interpret components of the requirements and develop processes to develop future state processes that drive compliance to regulations / customer requirements.
- Partner with regional teams to prioritize regional portfolio for implementations and drive regional/local engagement.
- Identify technologies to improve operational processes, data quality and customer compliance.
- Ensure all Work Instructions are aligned for operational excellence according to GxP.
- Augment and maintain comprehensive metrics and track issues, problem solving resolutions, contingency plans, and timelines to communicate to stakeholders.
- Support global leadership team in activities related to global strategy, tactical actions, and financial management for all the digital solutions.
- Represent DI&T team within the local business, IT, and supply chain organizations and external industry forums, standards organization, etc
- Develop, align with business, and execute opportunities to leverage these capabilities to deliver value, to J&J and its partners, beyond customer compliance.
- Keep abreast of new/existing regulations and pending regulations for other countries and new/existing customer requirements.
- Lead J&J’s efforts regionally and globally with industry (e.g., GS1, Pharmaledger, EFPIA etc.) to influence industry and regulatory authorities and shape regulations.
- Work with Organizational Change Management and Communications team members to develop appropriate documents for internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for value creation for the business and customers/partners; execute them as prioritized.

- Related Experience: 8 years of professional experience with at least 2 years in Supply Chain
- People Management Experience: 1-2 years

**Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written, oral and presentation).
- Ability to develop relationships and inspire confidence and trust from internal and external partners at all levels.
- Strong understanding and implementation experience of new age digital technologies (blockchain, Cloud services, RFID), life sciences industry, consumer goods industry, and supply chain processes in a regulated environment.
- Digital product management experience.
- Strong management skills to lead and develop team members and influence others in a complex matrix organization.
- Experience with industry standards such as GS1 (Global Standards organization) and technologies such as Azure Cloud or equiv., blockchain, RFID.
- Understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain interactions, interdependencies, and end-to-end business/IT architecture.
- Ability to understand the cultural and change management requirements and impact inherent in a large, complex organizational change initiative.
- Experience with making data-informed decisions, with concrete examples of outcomes resulting from defining and measuring success.
- A bias toward action & strong will to get things done balanced by a style that effectively influences.
- Comfortable with leading multiple projects/initiatives.
