Job Title: Product Owner - Payments

Location: Bengaluru

Job Description: We are seeking a talented and motivated Product Owner to lead our Payments team. The Product Owner will be responsible for defining and executing the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our payments platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payments technology, with a passion for innovation and a customer-centric mindset. This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class payment solutions that meet the needs of our customers and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Vision: Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and goals for our payments platform, in alignment with business objectives and market opportunities.2. Roadmap Planning: Develop and maintain a product roadmap that outlines key initiatives, features, and milestones based on prioritized business and customer needs.3. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for payment features and enhancements.4. Backlog Management: Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it reflects the latest priorities, dependencies, and changes while balancing short-term and long-term goals.5. Release Planning: Work closely with development teams to plan and execute product releases, including defining scope, setting expectations, and coordinating cross-functional efforts.6. User Experience (UX) Design: Partner with UX designers to create intuitive and seamless payment experiences that delight customers and drive adoption of our platform.7. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on product status, soliciting feedback, and managing expectations.8. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies that may impact product delivery or quality, proactively addressing issues as they arise.9. Performance Monitoring: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of payment initiatives, monitoring performance and iterating based on feedback and data insights.10. Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, soliciting feedback from customers and stakeholders, conducting retrospectives, and implementing process enhancements to optimize product delivery.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.2. years of experience in product management or related roles, with a focus on payments technology and solutions.3. Strong understanding of payment systems, including card payments, digital wallets, real-time payments, and cross-border transactions.4. Experience working in agile development methodologies, with a proven track record of successfully delivering payment products or digital solutions.5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands and make data-driven decisions.7. Passion for innovation and customer-centric design, with a focus on delivering exceptional user experiences that drive business value.8. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proactive and results-oriented approach to product ownership.
