Job Responsibilities/KRAs:

- Establish new golden paths for observability and build adoption for them across all
- Multi-Regional Datadog Configuration). Similar usage as per Dynatrace, Sitescope,
- Splunk etc..
- Exposure to other alerts, monitoring, analysis, observability tools like Dynatrace,
- Splunk, Sonar.
- Define what is an efficient and sustainable Datadog usage by gathering the needs of
- setting up alert or migrating alerts using Datadog.
- Able to provide solutioning and design to promote best practices in the Datadog products
- and migrating alerts to using Datadog.
- Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate requirements (both tech
- and non-tech and its implementations.
- lifecycle to ensure solution quality.
- Advise technical teams on performance, scalability, reliability, monitoring, and other
- operational concerns of observability solutions on Datadog platform.
- Design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support and
- facilitate migration of existing alerts using Datadog.
- Ensure that a quality solution is delivered in a timely manner and according to the
- customer satisfaction.
- Mentor new team resources on Datadog skillset and project related processes.
- Drive Proof of Concept (POC) and Proof of Technology (POT) evaluation on
- interoperable technology platforms
- Desired Skill, Experience, Qualifications, Certifications:

- Must Have:

- A minimum of 5+ IT experience and 3+ years hands-on using observability tools
- Datadog.
- Should have good coding skills in Go and/or Python, java.
- Should automate as many manual processes as possible and use code to scale impact.
- Should have strong communication skills and experience working with cross functional
- teams.
- You have experience of managing observability at scale and ready to advocate for
- enhanced practices.
- Should have experience working in Cloud environment.
- Ability to translate business requirements into a comprehensive, well-formed technical
- design.
- Experience working closely with business users and helping them make critical decisions
- that will influence the solution by explaining options, concepts, and best practices.
- Strong attention to detail around business process design and process improvement
- Excellent written and verbal skills are essential.
- Understanding of project priorities, timelines, budget, and deliverables and the need to
- proactively push yourself and others to achieve project goals.
- Strong consulting skills to work in a professional manner with customer IT and business
- users.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyse and resolve difficult problems
- quickly.
- Good to Have:

- Awareness in Cloud Technology
- Good understanding on CI\CD process and how to use Code Repository.
- Exposure to cross platform development tools.
