  1. Executing complete operation of Boilers & their auxiliary's system from CCR-DCS in a safe and reliable way. To ensure following standard operation practices in line with the OEM guide lines.
  2. Ensure handling all emergency situations in Boilers/Plant with closed coordination with the team including various cold/hot start up and stoppages.
  3. Carrying out efficient boiler operation at various operating conditions & with varying fuel mixes. To monitor boiler efficiency & It's aux. power on continuous basis & take required corrective actions.
  4. To ensure compliance to the safe operation procedures like PSSR, safety interlocks & tripping etc.
  5. Checking all boiler water/steam quality parameters on daily basis & ensuring required actions on it.
  6. Effective coordination with shop floor people/concerned agencies, monitoring & reporting abnormalities & follow up for corrections. To comply to all requirements of safety, WCM etc. time to time as per unit need. To execute activities related to safe isolations, LOTOTO & issuing PTWs from CCR.
