  1. A) Duties and Responsibilities
    • Identification of mechanical trouble & hands on experience of trouble shooting & rectification.
    • To maintain the availability of critical spares without increase the existing inventory level.
    • To reduce the inventory level and to develop new vendors to minimize the SnS cost and reduce the dependability on single vendor.
    • Toplan, implement & execute the schedules preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance of equipment's.
    • Handling of plant emergencies and coordinate with other departments to increase availability.
    • To plan, implement & execute maintenance of the Boilers & its auxiliaries & other related equipment's in order to achieve target TPP performance through aligning with activities.
    • Observing safety / statutory requirements for plant & associated equipment's within budgeted cost & time frame.

    Nature of Experience

    DME/BE mechanical
    3-5 years BE or 5-7 years DME
    Knowledge of mechanical maintenance of CFBC Boilers, Turbines, Balance of plant and its auxiliaries including coal/lime handling plant.
    -Dip knowledge of mechanical spares management.
    - Manpower management
    -Trouble shooting and analytical skill
    -Utilization SAP PM module.
    -Overhauling of All type of rotating equipment's.
    -Inventory management
    -Communication skill.
    - SAP utilization
    - Preparation of budget & analytical skill
    B) Goals / KRA to be assigned:
    (1) Plant availability / reliability
    (2) Inventory reduction and availability of critical spares and Uninterrupted power supply with Zero stoppage.
    (3) SAP utilization Maintain the equipment history and monitoring report into SAP. To maintain the zero-slippage report.
    (4) Achieve performance parameters like APC, Heat rate, Fixed cost etc.
    (5) Comply requirements of statutory documents, WCM, safety and ISO.
