Job DescriptionJob title: Project Leader

You will be responsible for leading projects End-To-End to develop Hardware for a product, technology, system, solutions.

  • Leading and coordinating with multidisciplinary (e.g. electronics, mechanics, software) or cross functional (e.g. marketing, Customer service, supply chain, development) project team(s), in order to realize the agreed content / deliverables, product quality, timing and budget.
  • Defining the project/program scope, content, staffing, planning and cost with key stakeholders.
  • Defining the overall project strategy and to execute the project (activities) according to QMS.
  • Realizing the agreed content/deliverables, product quality, timing and budget.
  • Defining and managing the overall project budget as defined in the project assignment in order to assure that financial means are available and financial targets are met.
  • Performing risk management, amongst others by setting up and maintaining the risk matrix, in order to manage the project related activities to an acceptable risk level by balancing scope, time, costs and quality.
  • Working out and preparing scenarios with the Project Core Team in case of issues which conflict with the project assignment.
  • Setting and maintaining a strong relationship with project key stakeholders. and to manage their perception in order to enable them to support the project by means and/or resources.
  • Using state of the art Program Management tools and processes to drive execution of projects/programs.
  • Maintaining a strong and open relationship with the (senior) Integral Project Manager and colleague cross-functional Core Team Members to enable a pro-active, effective Project Core Team, committed to the project assignment.
  • Ensuring and maintaining the required quality through adequate configuration management for product, documentation and process changes.
  • Reporting project status to the cross-functional Project Core Team in order to identify conflicts and to enable effective decision-making.
  • Co-ordinate with Project Core Team and ensures that the project complies with the Milestone Review elements for R&D.

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor/Master of Science in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics Engineering.
  • 8+ years of overall experience, initially as an engineer and later as project/program manager.
  • Highly cross functional and business oriented with Customer focus and Quality mindset.
  • Stakeholder/perception management skills and Influencing skills are essential.
  • Decision taker, entrepreneur, Convincing communicator and open for different views.
  • Accountable/Reliable, proactive with Strong leadership competences.
  • Ability to handle cultural differences, in diverse project teams.
  • Familiar with Quality systems and standards.
