As a B2B SaaS startup focused on revolutionizing food labeling through innovative software solutions, our mission is to empower food businesses with tools that ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in food labeling. Our suite of software solutions is designed for the food industry, targeting Food Export Companies, Domestic Packed Food Businesses, Food D2C and Ecommerce Companies, Hotels, QSRs, Catering companies, and International Food Companies (primarily in the GCC).

 

Leveraging technologies like React with Redux, Node.js, MongoDB, AWS, along with AI technologies such as computer vision, and large language models (LLMs), we are building smart, user-centric solutions.

 

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Tech Lead to join our growing team. As a Tech Lead, you will collaborate directly with the Founders to bring the business vision to life, leading a talented team of software developers and AI engineers. You will be at the forefront of creating intelligent, scalable, and user-friendly solutions while driving technical excellence.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Founders to align technical goals with business objectives.
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of robust software solutions.
  • Oversee a team of developers and AI engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement through collaboration.
  • Plan and manage project timelines, foresee challenges, and proactively address risks.
  • Ensure solutions meet user requirements and deliver exceptional convenience and functionality.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
  • Ready to code - Hands-on with coding and software development
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends to drive continuous

improvement.

  

Qualifications:

  • 6-8 years experience as Tech Lead or in a similar role in a SaaS products (B2B)
  • Proficiency in web development using MERN stack and AWS
  • Hands-on experience with AI technologies, including computer vision and LLMs
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to architect smart, scalable solutions
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a focus on team collaboration
  • A passion for delivering user-centric products.

Preferred:

  • Experience in the food industry
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
  • 6-8 years experience
