Purpose/Overview of the role: Reviewing of content for our OTT, social media and other digital platforms (s) content within the stipulated timelines to ensure adherence to standards and guidelines and protect the Network’s image.


Key Result Areas :

  • To review all content/scripts for our OTT, social media and other digital platform(s) within the stipulated timelines.
  • Drafting
  • To ensure compliance checks for all content by adhering to SPN’s guidelines & policies.
  • Equipping self with the changing compliance guidelines to ensure abidance of the MIB, Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, ASCI, and other such regulatory bodies and their regulations of the countries/regions we operate in.
  • Executing integration of new work systems/processes into existing work streams
  • To provide inputs as and when required to Programming/Marketing/OAP in terms of sensitive issues concerning children, women, obscenity, violence, and current and social issues.
  • To ensure advertisements adhere to SPNI policies and relevant regulations.
  • Maintaining & updating the relevant databases to ensure the availability of S&P information regularly.
  • Escalating sensitive cases, coordinating between various teams, and ensuring material that complies with the law and regulatory bodies goes on air.
  • To support the Reporting Manager / HOD in operational and day-to-day activities


Educational & Work Experiences / Key Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience
  • Graduate / Post-Graduate

Critical Competencies: Behavioural

  • Self-starter with bent for analysis and problem solving
  • Team player with good inter-personal skills
  • Strong planning capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Working within deadlines.
  • Must be self-driven and motivated to take initiative.

  • Incumbents must have multitasking ability. Timely and efficient delivery is the key.
  • Must be able to get the job done by working collaboratively with others.

Critical Competencies: Technical

  • Good knowledge of current affairs, especially relating to content
  • General awareness of laws on content creation and certification
  • Sensibility of sociological trends on cultural sensitivities in the Indian context
  • Should be well versed with excels, powerpoint and can navigate through the various tools required for compliance efficiently.
