The Opportunity
As a Payroll Specialist at Agratas, you will play a crucial role in managing our UK payroll operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, adhering to UK regulations and standards. This includes handling employee records, processing payments, and addressing payroll inquiries. You will ensure compliance and efficiency in our payroll processes, contributing to a smooth and effective payroll function within our organization.
PERSON PROFILE
- Administer end-to-end UK payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UK payroll regulations. In dept knowledge of – PAYE, NIC, P11D’s, SSP, SMP, Pension and Auto-enrolment.
- Maintain and update employee records, including salary, tax, and benefit information.
- Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of statutory payments, deductions, and other payroll adjustments.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to management
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to address payroll-related issues and streamline processes.
- Process new hires, terminations, and changes in employee status, ensuring correct payroll adjustments.
- Manage and administer employee benefits such as pensions, healthcare, and other deductions.
- Ensure accurate calculation and processing of statutory and voluntary deductions.
- Reconcile payroll reports with financial statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Co-ordinate with US payroll vendor to run payroll (In depth knowledge is not mandatory).
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential
- Strong knowledge of payroll management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building effective relationships and influencing across various domains.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree from any stream. MBA will be preferred
- 5+ years of experience in UK Payroll.
- Knowledge of US Payroll
