Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manager - HR and Administration to oversee people management, office administration, and day-to-day business operations. This role combines human resources responsibilities (talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance) with administrative/operations functions (facilities, vendor management, process improvement) to ensure smooth and efficient organizational functioning. The candidate must have prior experience with IT firms.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources (HR)

  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment: sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and induction.
  • Oversee performance management, goal setting, and appraisal processes.
  • Ensure statutory compliance with labor laws, PF, ESI, gratuity, and other HR regulations.
  • Drive employee engagement, retention, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and grievance redressal.
  • Maintain HRMIS and prepare HR analytics/reports for management.

Administration & Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day office administration, facilities, and workplace management.
  • Manage vendor relationships, procurement, and contract negotiations.
  • Monitor budgets, expense reports, and optimize operational costs.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for efficiency.
  • Ensure IT, security, and infrastructure support for employees.
  • Manage travel, logistics, events, and corporate communication needs.

Leadership & Strategy

  • Act as a trusted advisor to management on HR, compliance, and operational issues.
  • Contribute to workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development.
  • Support business continuity planning and risk management.
  • Mentor and guide the HR/Admin/Operations support team.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Organizational and multitasking ability; attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, HRMS tools, ERP systems.
  • Leadership qualities with a hands-on approach.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources / Business Administration / Management (MBA/PGDM preferred).
  • 6–10 years of experience in HR and Admin/Operations roles.
  • Prior experience in IT firms
  • Prior experience in a managerial capacity is desirable.
  • Exposure to both corporate HR practices and general operations management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50, ₹83,000.00 per month
