Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategy and Business Leader to lead our upcoming operations in India. The ideal candidate will have at least 5-9 years of relevant experience in Strategic Planning, Business/Profitability Improvement, and leadership. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the company's strategic vision, driving growth, and ensuring the overall success of our upcoming operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate new ideas and become key contributor in the following:
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan, aligning it with the company's global goals and objectives.
Merger & Acquisition management: Identification and M&A management
Investment Strategy: Set clear financial goals, Risk Management, Review & Rebalance, Tax considerations etc
Sourcing Strategy (Raw Material) – Procurement of Raw material from strategic locations and at competitive pricing
Setup Operations/Business: Help in setting up business/product, Business Development
Business/Profitability Improvement: Ensure the following - Cost management, Pricing Strategies, Upselling/Cross Selling, and Operational Efficiency enhancement.
Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
Financial Management: Manage budgets, financial forecasting, and cost control to ensure the financial health of the operations.
Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and government authorities.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of strategies and make data-driven decisions.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks that could impact the business's success.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field
Master's degree (Mandatory) – IIMs/IITs/NITs
Minimum of 4-9 years of experience in a strategic leadership role.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful business strategies that resulted in revenue growth and market expansion.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Excellent leadership and team-building abilities, with experience in managing cross-functional teams.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
Strong business acumen and a results-oriented mindset.
