Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive with 23 years of experience to manage procurement activities in our mining operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing quality materials, equipment, and services required for efficient and safe mining operations, while ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and evaluate vendors for mining equipment, spare parts, consumables, and services.

Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate terms with suppliers.

Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores and production teams to forecast procurement needs.

Ensure timely delivery of materials to avoid any disruption in mining operations.

Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, delivery, and vendor performance.

Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for incoming goods and material inspection.

Stay updated on market trends, new products, and supplier developments relevant to the mining sector.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during procurement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.

2–3 years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably in the mining, heavy equipment, or manufacturing industry.

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

Familiarity with technical specifications of mining equipment and spare parts.

Proficient in using ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Attributes:

Knowledge of mining safety and regulatory requirements.

Experience in handling local and international procurement.

Understanding of contract terms and conditions.
