✓ Leading design team and responsible for all mechanical design activities related to machine tools upgrade projects/new machines/new machine components.
✓ Responsible for mentoring design team with primary objectives of increasing knowledge base improving productivity and increasing efficiency. (Reducing re-works).
✓ CAD System handling..
✓ Degree (BE/B. Tech) in Mechanical Engineering.
✓ Experience in mechanical design of machine tools, for new machines and/or machine tools upgrade projects.
✓ Core experience in Machine Tool design with specialization in Grinding, Boring or other Precise machines and machines that require stringent output parameters.
✓ Ability to provide routine as well as customized design solutions for large machines like HBMs, VTLs, Plano-Millers, Grinders etc.
✓ Sound knowledge of all fundamentals related to mechanical design.
✓ Experience in handling/mentoring a team of 4-6 design engineers.
✓ Good communication skills.
✓ Willingness to travel to project sites for short durations.
✓ Experience with Solid works/Solid Edge.
✓ Key word(s): Machine tool mechanical design/Critical machines design/Boring, Grinding machines design etc.
