Job Description: Associate Manager – Sales, Partnerships & Business Development (Coaching & Upskilling Vertical) Department: Fin Z Organization: Physics Wallah As an Associate Manager in the Coaching & Upskilling Vertical at Fin Z, you will be responsible for identifying, acquiring, and managing partnerships with institutes in the test-prep, competitive exam, and skill development sectors . Your role will focus on helping coaching centers and upskilling providers offer student-friendly fee financing solutions , integrating seamlessly into their operations. You will work on direct sales, strategic partnerships, and account management , engaging with decision-makers at institutes, franchise owners, and training organizations. The position requires a strong understanding of the coaching and upskilling ecosystem , seasonal demand cycles, and how financial products can be positioned to increase enrolments. Role: Associate Manager – Sales & Partnerships (Coaching & Upskilling) Industry: Fintech/NBFC Function: Sales, Business Development & Partnerships Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Education: Graduate / MBA or equivalent preferred Experience: 3–6 Years in coaching, test-prep, upskilling, or edtech sales (lending/ERP background preferred) Location: Bengaluru Compensation: Competitive Salary + Performance Linked Incentives (PLIs) Key Competencies for the Associate Manager – Sales, Partnerships & Business Development for Coaching & Upskilling Vertical Sales & Business Development - Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in the education and skill development sectors . Experience selling solutions to coaching centers, training institutes, and edtech providers . Industry Experience - Familiarity with multiple segments including Engineering & Medical Entrance, Civil Services, Banking & Insurance, MBA, Law, International Test Prep, GATE, and Professional Upskilling programs . Understanding of institute operations, student enrollment patterns, and fee structures. Account Management - Skilled in onboarding partners, maintaining long-term relationships, and driving repeat business. Ability to address partner needs and provide tailored financing solutions.. Strategic Partnerships - Ability to identify and foster strategic partnerships that align with business objectives, creating new revenue streams and business opportunities. Client Relationship Management - Adept at nurturing and strengthening relationships with key clients, ensuring consistent value delivery and customer retention. Product Knowledge - Deep understanding of fintech products, particularly in the lending space, with the ability to communicate their value to clients and partners effectively. Regulatory Compliance - Familiarity with the regulatory framework governing fintech and NBFC sectors, ensuring that all business dealings are compliant with industry standards. Stakeholder Engagement - Skilled in collaborating with internal teams (e.g., credit, operations) and external partners to ensure the smooth implementation and execution of solutions. Negotiation & Closing Skills - Strong negotiation abilities with a focus on closing high-value deals, managing expectations, and driving profitable outcomes for both the company and clients. Problem-Solving - Proactive and solution-oriented, capable of addressing client challenges and finding innovative ways to overcome obstacles. Market Intelligence - Ability to monitor and analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, adapting strategies to stay competitive. Communication Skills - Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence both internal and external stakeholders.
