General Manager Accounts

Key Responsibilities:Ø
Financial Management:·
Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.·
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.·
Manage the company’s financial planning and risk management processes.Ø
Compliance and Auditing:·
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.·
Coordinate internal and external audits.·
Implement and maintain robust internal controls.Ø
Import and Export Operations:·
Manage financial aspects of import and export operations.·
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and policies.·
Oversee logistics and supply chain finance.Ø
Banking and Finance:·
Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.·
Oversee cash flow management, investments, and financing activities.·
Optimize the company’s capital structure and funding strategies.Ø
Accounting:·
Oversee the accounting department and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions.·
Implement and manage accounting policies and procedures.·
Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and documentation.Ø
Government Liaison:·
Visit and liaise with government agencies for queries and compliance-related matters.·
Ensure timely submission of statutory reports and filings.Ø
Team Leadership:·
Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team.·
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: -Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in commerce or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, CPA, CMA) is preferred.Minimum of 15 years of experience in accounts, finance, and related fields.Extensive experience in the banking and finance sector.Strong knowledge of compliance, auditing, and accounting principles.Experience in import and export financial operations.Familiarity with government regulations and experience in liaising with government agencies.Previous experience in the manufacturing sector is highly desirable.

Understanding and knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations·
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)·
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.·
Excellent financial management and analytical skills.·
Strong leadership and team management abilities.·
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.·
Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.·
