Staff4Me is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented General Accounting Specialist to join our finance team. As a General Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of financial tasks, including data entry, reconciliations, and financial analysis. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • With 3 years of relevant experience
  • Recording financial transactions and updating general ledger.
  • Preparing and analyzing financial statements, reports, and budgets.
  • Performing bank and account reconciliations.
  • Assisting with audits and tax filings.
  • Supporting the accounting team with ad-hoc financial analysis and projects.
  • Identifying and resolving discrepancies or errors in financial data.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Collaborating with team members to improve financial processes and procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in general accounting or finance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • CPA certification is a plus.
