Position: Business Development Manager
Role Overview: As the Business Development Manager at Altairo, you will be a strategic leader, responsible for driving growth and expanding our market presence. Your role will involve identifying new business opportunities, forging strong relationships with key stakeholders, and developing strategic plans to achieve our ambitious growth targets. Your expertise in business development and market analysis will be crucial in positioning Altairo as a leader in the luxury furniture market.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve short-term and long-term growth objectives. Align business development initiatives with the overall company vision and goals.
Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities. Utilize data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making and enhance market positioning.
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management: Identify and target potential clients in the luxury furniture and design industry. Build and maintain robust relationships with clients, architects, interior designers, and other key stakeholders. Ensure a high level of client satisfaction and loyalty.
Sales and Revenue Growth: Drive sales and revenue growth by promoting Altairo’s premium furnishings and services. Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets. Leverage your network and industry connections to generate leads and close high-value deals.
Partnership Development: Identify and establish strategic partnerships with industry leaders, suppliers, and other relevant entities. Negotiate and manage partnership agreements to maximise mutual benefits and drive business growth.
Brand Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance brand visibility and reputation. Participate in high-profile industry events, trade shows, and networking activities to promote Altairo’s brand and offerings.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the business development team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance and support to team members to achieve individual and team goals.
Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of business development initiatives. Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within the luxury furniture or high-end design industry. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Additional certifications in sales, marketing, or business development are advantageous.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in CRM software, market analysis tools, and other relevant technologies. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions.
Communication and Negotiation Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities, with the capacity to influence senior stakeholders and close high-value deals.
Leadership and Team Management: Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams. Ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve ambitious goals.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the luxury furniture market, including key trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences. Familiarity with renowned brands and high-end materials is highly desirable.
Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic and critical thinking skills, with the ability to develop and execute innovative business development strategies.
