Job Title:
Assistant Manager - NephrologyQualifications Required:MHA / PG Degree in Hospital Management with relevant computer proficiency.Minimum of 5 years' experience in dialysis unit management or healthcare leadership roles.Key Skills:Strong leadership and organizational abilities.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management:
Oversee daily operations of the dialysis unit.Ensure proper functioning of all equipment.Manage billing processes and ensure accurate record maintenance.2. Patient and Staff Coordination:
Interact with patients and ensure they receive top-quality care.Supervise and manage staff schedules effectively.3. Inventory Management:
Monitor and control stock usage, ensuring availability of critical supplies.4. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed patient and operational records.Generate regular reports for performance review.5. Clinical Oversight:
Supervise dialysis sessions and assist in developing patient care plans.Educate patients and families on treatment protocols.6. Discharge and Follow-up:
Prepare discharge summaries and coordinate patient discharges.7. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure adherence to clinical care standards and protocols.Manage complications effectively in collaboration with the clinical team.8. Financial Management:
Ensure accurate billing and claims processing.Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.9. Feedback and Engagement:
Address patient and staff feedback constructively.Support staff through training and mentoring.10. Quality Improvement and Crisis Management:
Identify areas for operational improvement and implement changes.Manage disruptions and ensure the team is well-prepared for crisis situations.
