Job Opportunity: Resident Medical Officer (RMO) - Nephrology Department

With advanced emergency care, high-end diagnostic and laboratory services, and a state-of-the-art dialysis unit conducting over 2,500 dialysis sessions per month, our Nephrology Department is a cornerstone of patient care under the supervision of a full-time in-house nephrologist.
Position Details:
Job Title: Resident Medical Officer (RMO) - Nephrology Department
Location: Dr. P. K. Saha Hospital, Cooch Behar, West Bengal
Engagement Type: Full-time
Qualifications Required:
MBBS from a recognized institution.
Valid registration with the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.
Prior experience in Nephrology/Dialysis care (preferred but not mandatory).
BHMS candidates may be considered as physician assistant if they have good experience in nephrology
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Monitor patients undergoing dialysis and manage pre- and post-dialysis care.
Assess, diagnose, and manage routine medical conditions in nephrology patients.
Dialysis Supervision:
Ensure safe and effective dialysis procedures in collaboration with the nephrologist and nursing team.
Manage emergencies related to dialysis or nephrology care.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Assist in preparing patient discharge summaries.
Coordination:
Collaborate with the Nephrology team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Ensure seamless communication between the nephrology unit, patients, and families.
Emergency Care:
Provide immediate medical attention to nephrology patients in emergencies.
Handle critical care situations in the dialysis unit and coordinate with the ICU team when necessary.
Education and Training:
Stay updated on nephrology protocols and guidelines.
Participate in hospital training programs and continuous medical education.
Key Skills:
Strong clinical acumen and ability to manage nephrology-related cases.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
