The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Terminal Certification Program Manager to lead our certification programs for POS devices, ensuring compatibility and compliance with various payment schemes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical program management within the payments or banking sector and a proven track record of managing end-to-end lifecycle of technical projects.
Responsibilities:
- Certify new POS solutions, focusing on advanced form factors such as Contactless and Online Pin transactions to enhance card acceptance.- Manage relationships with POS processors/aggregators and bank partners to drive business growth and ensure seamless integration.- Experience in doing and managing certification of all schemes.- Oversee the end-to-end integration process for new and existing partners, ensuring adherence to ISO-based and API certifications.- Manage the entire invoice validation process (in case of outsourcing) and coordinate payment procedures across partners.- Create detailed project reports to monitor progress, identify challenges, and develop effective solutions.- Support the development and revision of standards, certification policies, and compliance procedures.- Oversee the implementation of compliance-related issues raised by banks or payment schemes, ensuring all concerns are addressed promptly and efficiently.- Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, payment service providers, payment schemes, and terminal vendors to support the delivery of critical projects.- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure the technical specifications and functionalities of POS systems meet the required standards.- Conduct risk assessments and mitigation planning to ensure all certification processes align with industry security standards.
Requirements:
- 2-6 years of experience in technical program management within the payments or banking sector.- Extensive experience managing the end-to-end lifecycle of technical projects.- Strong knowledge of POS systems and industry-specific regulations.- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to lead projects independently and work under pressure.- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to negotiate and build relationships with key stakeholders.- Proficient in project management software and tools.- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
