The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Terminal Certification Program Manager to lead our certification programs for POS devices, ensuring compatibility and compliance with various payment schemes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical program management within the payments or banking sector and a proven track record of managing end-to-end lifecycle of technical projects. Role and Responsibilities: Certify new POS solutions, focusing on advanced form factors such as Contactless and Online Pin transactions to enhance card acceptance. Manage relationships with POS processors/aggregators and bank partners to drive business growth and ensure seamless integration. Experience in doing and managing certification of all schemes. Oversee the end-to-end integration process for new and existing partners, ensuring adherence to ISO-based and API certifications. Manage the entire invoice validation process (in case of outsourcing) and coordinate payment procedures across partners. Create detailed project reports to monitor progress, identify challenges, and develop effective solutions. Support the development and revision of standards, certification policies, and compliance procedures. Oversee the implementation of compliance-related issues raised by banks or payment schemes, ensuring all concerns are addressed promptly and efficiently. Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, payment service providers, payment schemes, and terminal vendors to support the delivery of critical projects. Coordinate with technical teams to ensure the technical specifications and functionalities of POS systems meet the required standards. Conduct risk assessments and mitigation planning to ensure all certification processes align with industry security standards. Requirements: 2-6 years of experience in technical program management within the payments or banking sector. Extensive experience managing the end-to-end lifecycle of technical projects. Strong knowledge of POS systems and industry-specific regulations. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to lead projects independently and work under pressure. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to negotiate and build relationships with key stakeholders. Proficient in project management software and tools. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness. Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
