Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Auditor with experience in digital assets and investment fund auditing , including mutual funds , private equity , and hedge funds . This role is ideal for professionals with a strong understanding of blockchain-based financial instruments and traditional asset classes, who can navigate complex valuation, custody, and compliance challenges in a fast-evolving financial landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute end-to-end audit engagements for clients involved in digital assets and traditional investment funds.
  • Evaluate and test internal controls over financial reporting, including digital asset custody, security protocols, and valuation methods.
  • Analyze fund structures, waterfall models, capital calls, NAV calculations, and performance fees across various fund types.
  • Review smart contracts, wallet management protocols, and blockchain transactions for audit accuracy and compliance.
  • Stay updated with regulatory frameworks (SEC, AICPA, PCAOB, GAAP, IFRS) relevant to digital assets and investment funds.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including tax, valuation, and cybersecurity experts.
  • Develop client deliverables such as audit reports, management letters, and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Mentor and supervise junior staff during audit engagements.
  • Assist in business development efforts, including proposal writing and presenting to potential clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of audit experience, with a focus on investment funds (mutual funds, hedge funds, or private equity).
  • Experience auditing digital assets, cryptocurrency exchanges, DeFi protocols, or tokenized securities strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of blockchain technology, digital asset custody, and valuation techniques.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills.
