Compositing Supervisor

JobDescription:
We are looking for CompositingSupervisor to join our growing studio in Chennai. Ideal candidatesare able to guide jobs have insane attention to detail and triumphin turning ordinary shots into artdirectedmasterpieces.
Responsibilities as aCompositing Supervisor:
- Design and developprocedural and innovative tool sets pipelines and techniques forthe Compositors.
- Accountable for meetingproductivity and quota targets on time and at a high level ofquality.
- Offer guidance and mentoring forjunior to mid level compositors.
- Clearlycommunicate progress andissues.
Compositingtasks include blue/green screen pulls 3D projection environment inNuke balancing and sometimes creating shadow elements colorcorrection wire & rig removal roto dustbusting morphstransitions background replacement dayfornight dryforwet and a hostof other 2Dissues.
Requirements:
- Atleast 8 years experience in compositing digital VFX forfilm.
- Advanced demonstrated knowledge andproduction experience in Nuke.
- Must have strongknowledge of compositing workflow and the compositing applicationinterface.
- Must have strong aptitude fortechnical workflow challenges such as directory structure fileformats naming conventions scripts automation tools automateddailies etc.
- Experience with complex matteextractions and motion tracking.
- Ability tomentor coworkers.
