Dfx Supervisor

Profound background in VFX post-production and comprehensive digital post-production proficiency, spanning all CG/asset and compositing-focused departments..
- Responsible for Bidding, Concept and look development, Client interaction, Production planning, Shot breakdowns, Working closely with artists and leads for day to day work.
- Demonstrated creative vision with a strong sense of aesthetics, encompassing mastery in blending elements of lighting, composition, cinematic design, and motion.
- Proven ability to work effectively under demanding production deadlines and high-pressure environments.
- Exceptional communication, organizational skills, and financial/budget management competence.
- Previous experience collaborating within a global corporate structure that spans multiple time zones.
- Expertise in industry-standard software packages, including Maya, Houdini, Nuke, Unreal Engine, and various rendering solutions.
- Capable of identifying and developing additional production tools in collaboration with Technical Directors (TDs).
- Proficient in interpreting the creative vision of the Client VFX Supervisor and providing clear, consistent, creative briefs to Leads and Artists.
- Advocating for consistent, global departmental workflows and processes, while actively designing more effective workflows.
- Delivering the highest quality work during dailies to the VFX Supervisor and crafting strategies for ongoing operational efficiency improvements, such as designing more effective training, tracking progress, and reporting across all teams.
- Facilitating communication with all departments to manage interdependencies.
- Day-to-day oversight of the Show supervision team. Resolving conflicts of workflow approach between the teams /the show.

**Qualifications**:

- Must Have at least 12 years VFX post-production experience
- Previous experience as a Comp Supervisor or Sequence Supervisor at senior level for a minimum of 2 years
- Excellent creative eye and aesthetic judgment with ability to sell creative solutions and ideas to clients and VFX Supervisors
- Ability to reduce complex problems to their most simple solutions
- Expert in Maya, Nuke, Houdini and/or Clarisse, and proficient in other industry standard software
