Position: General Manager – Marketing & CRM

Location: Chandigarh

Reports to: Managing Director

Job Overview:

This position will be a strategic leadership position responsible for setting the vision and direction for all branding, marketing, and customer relationship initiatives. The incumbent will lead and mentor a team that executes these initiatives, while focusing on strategic decision-making, planning, and overseeing high-level implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

Ø Develop and lead the overall marketing and CRM strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s long-term goals.

Ø Define key marketing objectives and strategies that enhance brand positioning and customer loyalty across all channels.

Ø Ensure brand consistency and integrity across all digital and offline platforms by guiding the overall brand strategy, messaging, and creative direction.

Ø Build strategic relationships with media, influencers, and external partners to ensure the brand maintains a strong public presence

Ø Lead the creation of market-specific assets on each platform, maximizing the brand’s reach and resonance with different customer segments

Ø Lead the strategic market research function, overseeing the analysis of market trends, competitor activity, and customer behaviour.

Ø Define and implement a comprehensive CRM strategy for new customer acquisition,

drive customer retention, satisfaction, and loyalty.

Ø Analyse data and create customer-centric strategies, ensuring the customer journey is seamless across all touchpoints.

Ø Mentor and lead the marketing and CRM teams, help them align with the organizational goals to achieve desired goals.

Ø Work closely with the sales team to align marketing strategies with sales objectives

Ø Establish and oversee the marketing and CRM budgets, ensuring that resources are strategically allocated.

Ø Ensure the company remains agile and innovative in its approach to customer engagement and brand management.

1. Customer Experience: Expertise in customer lifecycle management and journey mapping, with a keen insight into customer needs, wants, and desires. Skilled at designing impactful customer experiences across all touchpoints.2. Brand Strategy & Management: Expertise in guiding creative direction, ensuring that all marketing initiatives are aligned with brand values3. Public Relations & Stakeholder Management: Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, media outlets, and partners.

1. Leadership & Team Development: Ability to lead, inspire, and mentor diverse teams, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.2. Strategic Vision: Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to envision long-term marketing and CRM strategies3. Adaptability & Agility: Open to experimentation and innovation in marketing strategies and customer engagement approaches.

Key Requirements:

Experience:

Ø Proven experience of 15+ years in the industry, with minimum 6 years in a strategic marketing and CRM leadership role, preferably in the luxury goods, hospitality, or retail sectors.

Ø Demonstrated ability to lead teams in executing a high-level brand vision while ensuring alignment with company objectives.

Skills:

Ø Expertise in formulating and leading branding and CRM strategies at a senior level.

Ø Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams.

Ø Deep understanding of digital marketing, CRM platforms, and customer data analytics, with the ability to drive data-informed strategic decisions.

Education:

Ø Postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields is preferred.
