Job Overview:

This position will play a strategic leadership role in driving the overall sales strategy across the online and offline channels, exports, and optimizing the supply chain to support the company’s growth objectives. The role will be responsible for formulating long-term sales strategies, ensuring smooth export processes, and creating a seamless supply chain that aligns with the brand’s market demands.

Key Responsibilities:

Ø Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that spans online (D2C, e-commerce platforms) and offline (retail, distributors) channels.

Ø  Lead the export strategy by creating and implementing market entry strategies to grow brand presence globally while ensuring optimal logistics and supply chain support for international markets.

Ø Identify and develop new sales opportunities in both domestic and international markets.

Ø Work with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth, ensuring targets are met for both direct consumer sales and offline retail partnerships.

Ø Ensure the brand’s presence is optimized across all channels through effective pricing, promotions, and product placement in close collaboration with channels.

Ø Build strategic partnerships with retailers, distributors, and e-commerce platforms to expand the brand’s reach.

Ø Oversee the end-to-end supply chain, ensuring efficient procurement, inventory management, and distribution processes.

Ø Collaborate with Manufacturing team, Logistics partner and internal teams to enhance supply chain performance, minimize costs, and ensure timely product availability across all sales channels, including exports.

Ø Ensure proper inventory management across both online and offline channels, aligning supply with market demand to avoid stockouts or overstock situations.

Ø Lead, mentor, and manage diverse teams, ensuring alignment with the overall company strategy.

Ø Ensure that the sales and supply chain operations support a seamless customer experience, both domestically and internationally.

Ø Ensure compliance with local, national, and international trade laws, customs regulations, and supply chain standards.

Technical Competencies:

  1. Sales Strategy & Management: Expertise in developing and executing sales strategies for both online and offline channels.
  2. Export Management: Experience in market entry strategies and building relationships with international partners.
  3. Supply Chain Optimization: Proficiency in managing end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
  4. Vendor and Partner Management: Knowledge of procurement best practices and cost management techniques.
  5. Data Analytics & Reporting: Proficiency in drawing insights from the data and KPI tracking for continuous improvement.

Key Requirements:

Experience:

Ø 15+ years of experience with minimum 6 years in a leadership role overseeing operations, preferably in the retail, or FMCG sectors.

Ø Proven experience in building and executing sales strategies across both online and offline channels.

Ø Sound understanding of international trade regulations, export processes, and supply chain management.

Skills:

Ø Strong leadership and team management skills

Ø Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions and improve operations.

Ø Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience in managing vendor and partner relationships.

Ø Familiarity with international trade compliance, customs regulations, and documentation requirements.


Education:

Postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field is preferred.
