Role Objective

  • To lead sales growth for Ray Mechatronics & Machinery Pvt. Ltd.( Formerly Drass) in the Southern region by driving new business (MSMEs & start-ups), managing key accounts, and ensuring achievement of zonal sales targets across all brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets for the South Zone across Several Brands we represent Like Takumi, Awea, Hurco, Hyundai - Wia, US-Wheeler, few Japanese partner brands to be launched soon...

  • Develop new customer accounts in MSME and start-up segments while strengthening relationships with existing key customers.

  • Lead and mentor the regional sales team; set targets, monitor performance, and drive accountability.

  • Coordinate closely with service and application teams for customer support and project execution.

  • Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms to close orders swiftly in a competitive market.

  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and provide regular feedback to management.

  • Ensure timely order booking, invoicing, and payment collections.

  • Prepare zonal sales forecasts, pipelines, and monthly reports.

  • Profile Requirements

  • Graduate in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering (MBA preferred).

  • 10–15 years' experience in machine tool/capital equipment sales, with minimum 5 years in a zonal/regional role.

  • Good understanding of MSME/start-up customer behavior and sales cycles.

  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.

  • Ability to lead a team and deliver results under deadlines.

  • Customer & Solution first approach.

  • Strong drive for numbers and results while not compromising on Ethics.

  • Ability to work independently with accountability.

  • Technical understanding of CNC/machine tools.

  • Leadership & team management.
