Providesupport on strategic projects and maintenance of routineoperational and administrative support to Corporate &Investment Banking (Coverage and Advisoryteam)

Role& Responsibilities

  • Strategicdetailed analysis on important topics for Corporate coverage andadvisory team: development strategy (existing and new businessline) market intelligence business plans budgetsetc.;
  • AssistHead of Corporate Coverage & Advisory to initiate facilitateand measure various projects in relation to corporate bankingbusinessdevelopment;
  • Alignwith the regional Corporate Coverage Group and Corporate MarketsGroup Business ManagementTeam
  • Coordinateactivities across coverage teams and with various productteams;
  • Arrangerelevant meetings like Local Exco take meeting minutes and followup with stakeholders for necessaryactions
  • LeadInternal projects related to corporate coverage andadvisory
  • CoordinateNCAP meetings monitoring CRM lite reports RM calling planetc
  • Clientcomplaint register for thebusiness
  • 6monthly governance and audit process for ensuring compliance to RBIcurrent a/ccircular
  • Maintenanceof 60:40 facility split (WCDLOD) for all eligibleclients
  • Regularreviews of Exit client portfolio in conjunction with businessRMs
  • Assistin preparation and maintenance of MIS and presentations forinternal marketingsessions
  • Supportclient events and specific client marketinginitiatives
  • Superviseand track credit committee process CCS deliverables KYC relatedtopics and generalupdates

AdditionalResponsibilities

  • Directcontribution to Bank operational permanent controlframework.
  • Contributeto the implementation of operational permanent control policies andprocedures in daytoday business activities such as ControlPlan
  • Complywith regulatory requirements and internalguidelines
  • Contributeto the reporting of all incidents according to the IncidentManagementSystem
  • Ensureaudit recommendations are resolved within the specifictimeline.
  • Endeavorto ensure the quality of the Banks portfolio remains sound andhealthy.
  • MonitorMIS and submissions for various internal forums Quarterly riskreviews watch list committee greylist sector reviews LEI trackerdormant accounttracker
  • Monitorclient excess reports across variouscategories/products
  • Superviseand track CCS deliverables KYC related topics and generalupdates
  • Supportthe management on RBI and Internal Audit (IG) inspections. Ensurethat audit findings and recommendations are resolved withinspecific timelines
  • Workin tandem with Control teams to ensure timely closure of findingsandrecommendations
  • Supportall TAC NAC related interfaces where corporate coverage andadvisory business needs toparticipate
  • MonitorBCP on a quarterlybasis
  • Ensuretimely billing revenue booking processfollowedPrepareall deal related client invoices for Corporate and Advisoryteam
    • Processthe invoices by liaising with clients office and the internal taxfinconteams
    • Liaisewith the internal remittance team for internal accounting of theinvoices
    • Liaisewith the Fincon Tax and IG team deal related documentation /queries post invoicing
    • Processthe various vendor invoices related to deals
  • Monitorthe UPSI data base on a quarterly basis to ensure all deals arecaptured
  • Monitorthe Gift and Entertainment register on a quarterlybasis
  • Liaisingwith admin and IT team for the administration and smoothfunctioning of thedepartment
  • Managingthe filing and storage of important documents for the Coverage andAdvisoryteam
  • Ensureproper record keeping for all deals / transactions

CandidateProfile:

  • Goodknowledge about banking industry particularly recorporate/investment banking and capitalmarkets
  • Outstandinganalytical and reasoningskills
  • Excellentcommunication presentation & interpersonal skills in terms ofboth effective/efficient in external and internalcoordination
  • Attentionto detail with high standard while capable of effectively managemultitasks
    concurrently
  • Fastlearner proven team player and enjoy workinghard
  • Internationalconsulting experience combined with banking experience is aplus
  • PCknowledge: e.g. Word Advanced Excel PowerPoint

  • Universitygraduates (PostGraduation / MBA will be anadvantage)
