Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and results-driven Sales Manager to oversee the sales operations for our crane rental services. This position requires an individual with deep industry knowledge, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to drive sales strategies within the construction and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base and achieving company growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
1.
Strategic Sales Development:
Identify and secure new business opportunities within the construction, infrastructure, and industrial sectors, focusing on crane rental services.

2.
Client Relationship Management:
Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both prospective and existing clients to ensure continued business growth and customer satisfaction.

3.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets, while aligning with the company's overall business objectives.

4.
Market Analysis:
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, using insights to inform sales tactics and business decisions.

5.
Sales Forecasting & Reporting:
Generate detailed sales forecasts, performance reports, and actionable insights for senior management, ensuring that targets are met consistently.

6.
Negotiation & Contract Management:
Oversee contract negotiations with clients, ensuring favorable terms, compliance with company policies, and timely service delivery.

7.
Customer Service Excellence:
Ensure the prompt and efficient delivery of crane services, addressing any client issues or concerns to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
A background in construction, heavy equipment, or related industries is a plus.
• Experience: 5-7 years in sales, preferably in sales of commercial vehicles, earth moving equipment, fleet services, heavy equipment spare sales/service, equipment rental or equipment/vehicle service industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.


• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of crane rental/utilization practices, fleet management, and the techno-commercial aspects of construction and industrial site operations


• Sales Skills: Proven track record in developing sales strategies and achieving targets.


• Leadership: Experience in leading and motivating a sales team and target/goal based working.


• Communication: Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills.


• Negotiation: Strong contract negotiation and deal-closing abilities.


• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market data, challenges and adapt strategies accordingly.
