Job Overview:We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced

Accountant

to manage daily accounting operations, legal compliances, and Management Information System (MIS) reporting for our consumer goods company based in Agra. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, statutory compliances, and financial reporting.Key Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including journal entries, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss accounts in accordance with accounting standards.Ensure timely and accurate filing of statutory returns such as GST, TDS, and Income Tax.Handle payroll processing and ensure compliance with labor laws and taxation.Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports for management.Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to provide financial insights.Ensure all financial records are maintained in compliance with legal and company policies.Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities for audits and assessments.Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and implement necessary compliance measures.Key Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA/ICWA preferred but not mandatory).Proven experience in handling daily accounting, statutory compliances, and financial reporting.Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, ERP, or equivalent) and Microsoft Excel.Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other relevant legal compliances.Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal teams.Preferred Qualifications:3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in the consumer goods sector.Experience with MIS reporting and financial analysis.Familiarity with audit procedures and working with regulatory authorities.
